Richard Selby

Richard was an engineer with Cable and Wireless, working in many areas of the world including The Middle and Far East, The Caribbean and Africa.

He began lecturing at the Cable & Wireless College in Porthcurno in 1988, and moved with the college to Coventry where he was responsible for resourcing and teaching management courses internationally

Richard now teaches management modules at Masters' level at a university in Prague, and also conducts Business Simulation workshops for the CTO around the world.

Richard is responsible for Quattro's Marketing and Customer Care modules


Chris Phillips

Chris has been presenting Human Resource Training for over twenty years. This was firstly with the Industrial Society, one of the UK's leading independent training and advisory organisations, and then as Manager Business Training with Cable and Wireless plc.

Since 1989, Chris has run his own consultancy, Chris Phillips & Associates. He has led training for the telecommunications business in all five continents, and in the UK works for a range of private companies, local administrations and education authorities.

Pete Johnson

Pete worked for Cable and Wireless for 37 years, in Africa, the Middle East, the Caribbean, and UK. He was an Transmission engineer specialising in microwave radio, fibre-optics, and earth stations.

He worked on many projects, both in Head Office, and in the field in Saudi Arabia, the Caribbean, and in UK with Mercury Communications.

In 1985 Pete was appointed to the Cable and Wireless College, becoming Senior Lecturer.

In 1995 he returned overseas as Manager Training for Lattelekom in Latvia, and then as director of the European Space Agency Tracking Station in Ascension Island.

In 1999 he started the partnership, Cornerstone International, to provide customised training courses world-wide, including the MSc in Telecoms for Coventry University
